Connects: Sports Edition is now out of Beta, Super Bowl on Sunday, February 9, February 9. It is a symptom that the game has achieved sufficiently loyal players that the Times-owned subscription-based sports journalism site athletic will continue to publish it. It does not appear in the NYT Games app but now Athletic appears on its own app. Or you can continue to play it online for free.

Quick Tips for Connects: Sports version
#1: Don’t occupy for the easiest group. For each word, it can adapt about other sports sections – is this a word that can be used in football, or describe scoring options?
#2: The second meaning is important. The puzzle prefers to use the last names and even college names that mean other things mean that you think it is not a name, not a name.
#3: And the opposite is also true. Words like the heart may seem like regular words, but this is the last name of at least one pro athlete.
