We examine lots of routers at CNET headquarters – fake and otherwise – so we are constantly updating our rondows of top systems in the market. I will note any new fake systems we will check here with a quick summary of my techways. Please note that there are several systems in this list that was tested in my home instead of our latest exam setup.
ARIS SURFOBORE Max AX6600: A steep, cylindrical design was able to faster to other Wi-Fi 6 devices in my exam, surfboard Max Pro, but the performance was not in line with the previous-Zenner Wi-Fi 5 device. I don’t even like Ethernet Jacks at the bottom of the device, which forces you to bend your cables to plug the router.
Asus Genwifi XD 5: Jenwifi XD 6 is around the Ero 6 Plus at the price of the XD 6 and for the three-pack for $ 263, it is one of the more affordable Wi-Fi devices you find. Its performance was less consistent throughout the house. In the garage, I just got the speed of uploading 284 Mbps with XD5 in the living room compared to 494 Mbps, while Iro 6 Plus returned 706 and 486 Mbps for the same price.
Asus Genwiifi XD 6: Wi-Fi 6 Fake Routers from Asus Family to Middle Child, Genwifi XD 6 is a Dual-Band Fake System. This will not give you the three-band build of the XT 8, or you will not get the multi-gig ethernet jack of that system. Nevertheless, the system I tested any dual-band mesh router while I first reviewed it, so it is not bad by any stretch. Available for about $ 250, it is a reasonable price for a high-performer system.
Asus GenwiFi XT 8: One of the most powerful Genwipi systems, Tri-Band XT 8 performed well in our speed test and was one of the first fake routers to include multi-gig ethernet one ports on each device. A two-pack available For $ 330Former CNET Innovation Award winner is a reasonable upgrade pick, but it is not as good as TP-Link Deco W. 7200 or ERO 6 Plus.
Asus Jenwifi Kuti Mini costs less than other GenwFi systems that support Wi-Fi 6, but the performance in our speed test was scattered.
Asus Jenwifi X Mini: Also known as GenwiFi XD 4, the Genwifi ax mini is the proposed greater and more powerful GenwiFi XD 6 and XT 8 systems for a Pint-size younger siblings. The performance was scattered in my tests, whenever I connect to a distance, with annoying speed drop-offs, so it is not as recommendable as other genuFi offers.
Iro 6: Amazon’s first Wi-Fi 6 fake router, Iro 6 2020 returned to the market in the 2020, but it did not blow us during our exam. It followed the Ero systems to follow my speed tests and they provide the same smart home parks as the built -in radio for jigby and thread.
Ero Pro 6E Gigabit Networks are great for networks, but most homes will be sticking properly with less expensive Iro 6 Plus.
IRO Pro 6E: Iro Pro has done a great job in our speed test, finishing the top in almost every section, providing a noticeable speed bump on Wi-Fi 6e devices that can connect to the 6GHz band. The smaller size IRO 6 Plus is better for most families, but if you are a Wi-Fi 6E power user with gigabit speed at home, the upgraded view of the Ero Pro 6E is elong.
Iro Max 7: It adds support to Amazon’s new, largest and principal Ero fake system, and it promises Wi-Fi 7, new Wi-Fi standard that Wi-Fi 6e 6GHz Band. In our initial speed test, Max 7 was able to hit the burning-speed speed, but it does not maintain these heights during the test. In fact, on multiple occasions, when I connected the test floor garage, the farthest room from the main router, the system will connect me through an extender of 2.5 GHz band, which caused the motion (and the overall location of Max 7 on my leaderboard). The worst thing is that the system kept me at 2.5 GHz even after I returned to the same room as a router. What’s more, when we restart our tests with fancy Wi-Fi 7 test devices, the speed was actually Slow Than what we saw on Wi-Fi 6 or Wi-Fi 6e device. I will continue to check this system to see if the mesh improves, but now, it is not a splerge that I would recommend.
Linksis Velop MX 2000: A two-pack available For $ 115Linksis Velp MX 2000, also known as Velop Atlas 6, is decent enough to go to baseline Wi-Fi 6 fake routers, but if you shop around you will get better values and faster speed.
Nest WiFi Pro is one of the new Wi-Fi 6e routers in the market. There is a lot to be liked about but the average speed between Wi-Fi 6e systems is slowing down.
Nest WiFi Pro: Nest WiFi Pro Fake Router Built Google Assistant Smart Speaker Empty Smart Speaker and re-work the original Nest WiFi pitch by adding access to the 6GHz band with the Wi-Fi 6E support. With a built -in thread radio and strong smart home control through the Google Home App, it was stabilized as performer as it saw in my speed test with smart homemates. Nevertheless, these speeds were somewhat unnecessary and the system lacked the backward consistency with the previous Nest WiFi and Google WiFi hardware. This $ 400 for three-packThis is a bit expensive for the performance of this national street.
Netgier X 6000: Netgar Orb 850 has been published as a series and has recently been updated in the 860 series, both generations of Ax6000 fake routers of NetGier offer strong performances, but I am not as impressed with the system of a gigabit network, where several systems that have been spent on my test were able to outpour. Nevertheless, this is one of the most consistent fake routers I have tested with reliable speed from the test. If this type of steady performance you do whatever you do after it is higher on your list.
Netgar Orbi X-11000: The XE 11000 version of the popular Netgar Orbi Router is a high-energy Wi-Fi 6E tank that I have tested all the other routers in the Wi-Fi 6e device. It is a stronger actor than plain ol ‘Wi-Fi 6, but it is not almost as dominant as you can expect that it spends more than $ 798 for three-packs.
Netgar Orbi 970 Series: Netgier’s new flagship, a 970 series is a tower-shaped ORBI system that adds support for Wi-Fi 7, the new Wi-Fi standard that promises to build the expansion of Wi-Fi 6E in the 6GHz band. The system was exactly faster when I examined it, but the top performing ASUS disease is not as fast with Wi-Fi 6 devices as GT 6. For Wi-Fi 7 devices, we did not see significantly better performance than Wi-Fi 6 in our initial test, but it is still very early for the standard. If we get the chance to test extra Wi-Fi 7 setups, we will know more, so stay up for updates on that front in the coming year. In the meantime, this extremely expensive system is almost overcol for most families.
TP-Link Deco X4300 Pro: Deco X 4300 Pro is a fascinating system that features the best Wi-Fi 6 speed we have seen, as well as multi-gig ethernet jacks on each device. Deco W.7200 still seems to be better quality for most homes, but if you are looking for one step from that system, put the X4300 Pro on your radar.
TP-Link Deco X55 Pro: The X55 Pro IRO 6 Plus has a lot of similarities with-Y-Fi 6, the far-reaching range, support for Gigabit Ethernet Jacks-but I am leaning towards the fake system for the built-in Jigby radio. The Ero 6 Plus also returned somewhat faster in the exam. At $ 140, X55 Pro is a strong value for a three-piece mesh system, but I will put it more in the “good, not great” region.
TP-Link XE 75: TP-Link’s first Wi-Fie 6E fake router, XE 75 has done a decent work on our initial tests, though the average upload speed of the system was lower than my expectation. This is a clean value sorting and currently available on a two-pack For $ 144So if you are curious about Wi-Fi 6e, look at it with overspanding. We will update this page once we recover it in our lab, so stay for it.
TP-Link Deco X90: A Multi-Gig One Port and a Fast Rating, Deco X 90 is Porting a Midrange Upgrade on Deco W. 7200, and It is Spending $ 240 for a two-packThe It did well in my tests, but not enough that I advised to give it a $ 80 more than Deco W. 7200.
Villo: The Villo Fake Router was in 2021 when I was available for about $ 20 dollars I was one of the most affordable fake routers. Nowadays, you can take a little less than it is $ 40 per fake deviceHowever, you do not expect high speed from the low-cost Wi-Fi 5 system like this. In fact, it is the slowest average upload and downloads of any of the systems I have tested against it. Nevertheless, it has done the job, so if you only need something cheap, the speed should be shocking, give it a look.
It is not a top acting or value, but the amplifie alien is a great look Wi-Fi 6 fake router that allows you to create a VPN-style connection with your home network while traveling, this is a great, unique feature.
