What is the risk for Seattle during dramatic changes?

Washington University Foster School of Business Marketing Professor Jeff Shulman As a host of Seattle Growth Podcast, the director of the Product Management Center, and the campaign of housing to promote the promotion of Sonali, has spent several years to study this question as a civic voice.

In this episode of The Gikwire Podcast, Shulman joined us to talk about the place of Global AI Boom Seattle, why the city fought to create superstar startups, what the AI meant for marketing and education and how civic identity, technology, business and sports encouraged the region in the past.

Shulman reflects the history of Tech Boom in Seattle, noting that the past ages led by Boeing, Microsoft and Amazon have developed a strong local ecosystem and virtuous cycle that attracts talent and encouraging innovations.

This happened recently with the rise of the cloud under the leadership of Amazon Web Services.

However, the dynamic is not repeating itself in the current AI wave, instead the gravity center of art is being created in the Gulf. This week, the two gikwaire story underscred the problem: a top AI startup highlights the absence of Seattle from the Startup Funding Round, the other tests the resistant control of robotaxis in the region.

Shulman said, “We still have Amazon and Microsoft, but we have not become the capital of the world as we should.” “We are still not watching that pirate with al, and this is a missed chance” “
