For security, Android phones will now auto-reboot after three days

Google’s mobile operating system Android will now automatically reboot if the phone is locked for three days.

Monday, Tech Giants Google pushed updates on Play ServicesA key part of Android that provides effectiveness for the application and operating system. A new protection feature listed under “Protection and Privacy” that is “drawn for 3 days will automatically restart your device.”

Last year, Apple rolls the same feature for iOS. The thought behind adding an automatic reboot after a certain period of inaction is to make life more difficult for a person who is trying to unlock or extract data from any phone; For example, law enforcement using such a forensic analysis device made by celebrities or magnetic forensic.

Before any phone is turned on and unlocked, it is hard to fully encrypt the specified data stored in it and access without the user’s passcode. It is known as “before unlocking” as the state. On the other hand, once unlocked, some data can be decrypted and the passcode can be possible by bruting or taking advantage of protection defects, which is usually how the law enforcement forensic devices work. This state is known as “after unlocking”.

Google did not respond to any request for the comment by asking what was the inspiration behind this new feature.
