The feature works by asking us to upload a photo to see how users can see real clothing. Now, users can imagine how different pairs of shoes will see them.
To try virtually a pair of shoes, users need to tap on any product list of Google, select the “Try it” button and then add a full length photo of yourself. After a few seconds, they will see shoes from the list in their digital version. Users have the option to save or share the image with others.
The launch comes two months after Google users use AI to try to try cloth virtually. Google already offered virtual tri-on technology, the previous features focused on showing items in different range of bodies of different models. With the new AI feature, the company begins to allow users to try clothes in the virtual version of their own body.
Google is investing in virtual tri-on spaces in other ways. In June, the Tech Giant launched an experimental app called DOPPL to imagine how different decorations could see you using AI.
Virtual tri-on features, which are now shoes and DOPPL are driven by the same generator AI technology, designed to dopple buyers more deeply submerged towards virtual tri-on, helps to correct their personal style. Also, DOPPL can create AI-exposed videos so that users can get a better idea of how the dress will look at them in real life.
Google is not the only company to launch a virtual tri-on technology, as both Amazon and Walmart have introduced similar features.
