You don’t have to tap any location near your last route point. After you tap Create a custom routeYou can tap any location away miles away and the maps will create a route for you. It is important to note that you tap a location miles away from where you start your route but maps will find a path that does not involve boosting through a wall-like wall. In that case, creating a route is just like getting the direction of driving on the map.
When creating your route, the maps will also give you three routes options: the opposite, the outside and the back and the closed loop. The opposite flip your route so that where you initially started where your route ends. Out and back make your route maps on your own so that you start and end on where you started in a single way. The Close Loop finishes your route where you started but for notified routes.
Once you create your route, tap Save And you will be asked to name your route. Then tap CompletedThe Maps will also download your custom route on your iPhone, so you don’t have to worry about losing welcome, especially if you are traveling in the desert.
Where to find your custom route
After you save your custom route, it will be transferred to your library on the map. Here is how to access it.
