I have been waiting for the Nintendo Switch 2 since I was announced, but after Wednesday’s launch event I am not sure I will ever upgrade to the new console. This is because I have a distinct feeling that contrary to its predecessor, it is not a console designed for comfortable gamers like me.
Gaming means different things for different people and for a long time, I have resigned myself to the idea that it is not just for me. It was not because I never enjoyed playing games, but the simulations, puzzles and technique of games I like as young and adolescents do not seem priority to publishers or console makers because the focus on the growing claim of AAA games was shifted. Once my brother is business in our family PS2 for an Xbox I consider to finish my gaming days.
Although there has been a rich indie game scene for a long time that I have occasionally submerged my toes, I never enjoyed sitting in front of a PC. Instead, it was the introduction of the original Nintendo Switch that brought me back to gaming in a big way. There was a console that did not take yourself very seriously, casual, comfortable gamers like me to get less intense, less electricity-hungry titles, with friends on our TV or on a long distance flight (when I have nothing better than losing myself in a game where I pretend to run the bear’s bed and breakfast).
I was one of the many who poured the hour in the animal crossing, but the switch has the whole world of comfortable games, publishers always publish new titles and they are wildly popular. One of the most recent launches, Hello Kitty Island Adventure, which was published in February, Half a million copies have been sold within the first 30 days Lonely
Serious aspects of Switch 2
When Switch 2 was announced, I was ready to see the level of my favorite console, but on the basis of Wednesday’s announcement I see very little to be encouraged for comfortable gamers like me. In fact, I think Nintendo is at risk of separating us with this upgrade.

I was hoping that at least one of the games announced at the launch would be something to excite the crossing fans, but there was no fate. It seems to me that evenings focus on more demand and serious titles, including bludes exclusive, the switch is shaking his delicious and family-friendly identity to better compete with the likes of the Xbox and Playstation.
Switch 2 looks even more serious. Previously brilliant Hollywood victory-con-con-contenders are now black, only to their red and blue predecessors through a ring of color around Joistics. This reminds me of the steam deck more than the Nintendo Console.
It was said that this is still the first day of Switch 2, and not just giving priority to the launch of comfortable gamers does not mean that future temptations will not be as expected. Switch 2 can open more potentials below the line for the newly introduced mouse functionality technique and simulation games, many of which can fall into the genre of comfortable games.
I will keep an eye on my street for more future releases on my street, which is worth the upgrade in the end of the switch 2. In the meantime, in my original switch, you can get me in bed to visit every villagers in Stardewe Valley.
