Samsung Pauses One UI 7 Rollout After Bug Locks Users Out of Phones


Samsung has paused its AI-driven One UI Interface worldwide rollout after some customers stopped their phone unlocking their phones. Break, flagged by frequent Samsung leaks Ice UniverseSamsung Galaxy S24 seems to have affected the updates in South Korea. People who upgraded to a UI7 (alias Android 15) repeatedly unlocks their phones.

The company has since dragged the update to all the galaxy models and regions, perhaps as a precautionary system. Samsung told CNE that the software “new time and availability will be shared soon.”

Samsung added, “One UI7 rollout schedule is being updated to ensure the best possible experience.”

Starting with the Samsung Galaxy S24 Series starting with Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6, on April 7, the Galaxy phones and tablets start turning the one UI 7 update on the phone and tablets. Other devices were expected to follow soon.

A UI 7 introduces a new designed interface around AI, which provides more personalization and control to people. The software uses artificial intelligence to edit video, write messages and advise the places to go for dinner.

This step comes when technology companies turn more AI features into their smarter personal assistant to embed on mobile devices that can help complete daily tasks.
