Samsung has resumed its AI-driven One UI interface rollout after some people were unable to unlock their phone earlier this month.
The company confirmed to CNET that it resumed the software push, but refused to provide more details about the main issue.
This problem was derived from the Samsung Galaxy S24 models that received updates in South Korea. People who have upgraded to a UI7 (based on Android 15) have reported repeated problems with unlocking their devices. Samsung temporarily stopped the update on all galaxy models and regions, perhaps as a warning. At that time, the company told the CNET that it was revising the rollout schedule to “ensure the best possible experience”.
Samsung Galaxy S24 Series, Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 have made the one UI 7 update on Galaxy phones and tablets on April 7.
A newly designed interface centered around the II in a UI 7 provides features, increased personalization and control. The software uses artificial intelligence to edit video, compose messages, and advise the dining places.
This step comes when technology companies continue to compete to embed AI features on smartphones, convert them into more smart daily companions capable of conducting more complex tasks.
