The Last of US Season 2 has arrived, returned us into a world called cordiceps, which has flowed the world, has thrown millions of people dead, and changes everything for those who survive.
Cordiseps infection is caused by a fungus that occupies the human brain, turning it into a foolish murder machine. Although most people who are attacked become “runners”, there are people who change there. In 1 season, we met with a form, “clickers”, who hunts by words and are extremely dangerous.
Clechers are not just variants of hiding in the world’s wastes. In the first episodes of 2 season, we have already introduced two more variants and may have more on the way. Let’s take a look at the variants that we are still on Eli and his friends so far.
Spokeler warning: If you are not yet caught in the second season, there is a spoler about the new type of infected appearance outside the wall. If you haven’t been caught, consider this your last chance. There is Spoler at the bottomThe
Runners
The runners are infected with the most common type in our end.
The runners are infected with the most common type in our end. They show what happens to most people who are victims of cordiceps fungus. These people are only driven by the need to attack others and are completely controlled by infection.
Click
The clicks are hunting by the wicked, predator and perfectly.
The first form of infection we see at our end is called clicks. Cordiseps exist with brain infections for a long time before they are transformed into something more dangerous.
Clickers have lost their vision due to mutations from the virus and instead of the victim by word. They are fairly easy to identify a team, thanks to the way the fungus changes their mouth size, with the growth of different fungi on their head. Clicks are infected, fast -moving and are the most common variants of becoming more severe than recently infected.
Stackers
Although most infected they are directly driven to any human, it is not true throughout the board. The Stalchers were the first new variant of the infection to be introduced to the second season of our last season and they did not run foolishly to the people. Instead, they actively hunt stalks using the environment for their convenience.
Stalchers appear in their first on-screen in the first phase of the 2 season, when Eli finds one while cleaning an old building with Dinner. It is easy to see how dangerous this particular variant is, especially when someone drives Eli and pulls out a bite from it. For any other survival, it was punished for death – only Eli’s immunity allowed him to survive without being infected.
Blator
Blarators are the largest infected variant so far.
The third variant we face in the second season is the most deadly so far and it is known as a blotter. Blarators are one of the rare types of infections because the host must be strong enough to survive because the infection fundamentally changes them. They are infected huge – strong enough to break the walls – and it is extremely difficult to down.
The first blotter seen in the second season appeared during a huge attack on Jackson. It is clear how the city walls are completely broken and how can a dangerous blatter be after killing Tommy.
The fungal infection gives them a degree armor, which is why it only seemed angry that the sound of multiple guns was hit. It is only when Tommy Flamthrower goes one after another that he is able to avoid his attack (and even then it is a close call).
The survivors fight against the infected with every weapon in their arsenal.
2 The Stalchers’ presence in the season raises this question, “What else is there?” If Eli or other survivors have more variants on the earth beyond their walls or what can wait for them, but no idea. To see it with Eli and his friends you need to see and experience it.
