Why claim a domain profile
Every domain checked by this site builds up a profile – category, risk level, industry, and other signals gathered automatically. Claiming that profile lets the actual owner of a domain step in, confirm control of it, and put accurate, human-written details in place of what was inferred automatically: an organization name, a short description, and a website link.
How verification works
Enter the domain and an email address at that exact domain – a subdomain or a related domain will not qualify. A 6-digit code is sent to that address and expires after 15 minutes. Entering it correctly confirms control of the domain's own mail, which is the same bar Google Search Console and most SaaS "verify your company domain" flows use.
What can be edited after verifying
- Organization name, shown wherever this domain's profile appears.
- A short description of the organization or the domain's purpose.
- A website link, if different from the domain itself.
Only the automatically inferred fields are replaced by a claim – the verification itself never affects the domain's DNS, mail delivery, or anything outside this site's own records.
