Netflix is right Introduce Subtitles are a new way of experience that eliminates the need to read audio signals like “Door Slams” or “Ring of the phone”.
Netflix’s new conversation-cable subtitles were announced on Thursday, “Navigate in audio” and then “subtitles” can be enabled to go. Users will see an alternative to “English” labeled instead of “English (CC), indicating that it will contain only spoken words.
This option complements existing closed captions (CC) that meets the hardness of the deaf and hearing community, which includes spoken conversation and important audio signals such as sound effects and music indexes.
Conversation-only subtitles, however, suggest a flowing option, showing simply conversation without additional context.
This new option is a response to the growing popularity of subtitles. According to Netflix, about half of the subtitles are spent on all viewing time in the United States.
Conversation-cable subtitles are now available for the new season of “You” and soon the streaming service providing other new Netflix original titles in each language.
