In the past, parents were able to view the list of their child, but the new friend-blocking feature is moving a step further, giving parents the ability to report them and blocked the people they believed and prevent their child from giving direct messages. Note that children under the age of 13 are unable to block their parents limited users, but they sought permission from their parents.
