This week was caused by a Wemo Robotuxi traffic jam in a chic-fil-a California Santa Monika in California after being stuck in the drive-thru lane of a fast food restaurant. Wemo confirmed the incident, which was first reported KTLA 5 of the local broadcasting stationIn TechCrunch via email.
Wemo told TechCrunch that there were no passengers in Robotaxi. Wemo Robotuxi dropped a passenger in the chic-filing parking. However, the robotuxi drive-threw lane and tight space were unable to complete a multi-point turn because of the closeness of several other cars, according to the company.
There was no injury in this case – waiting for food to order food is only difficult for them.
There are periodic problems – often highlighted by videos shared on social media – Wemo Robotaxis prevents traffic or otherwise causes disturbance. In the past one year, a Weemo has been stuck in a roundout loop, another San Francisco stopped in front of former Vice President Kamala Harris’s motorcade. And a parking lot full of WiMos was honored for an hour during the dawn.
Wemo Sun Francisco, Phoenix and Los Angeles operates a commercial robotaxi service in Angeles. The company also has a robotuxi service in Austin through partnership with Uber.
