Bosh’s Venture Arm has a new $ 270 million funds that will continue to invest in deep technology startups. This time, however, Bosh Ventures plan to put more money in North American startups.
Launched in 2007, the Bosh Ventures are now in its sixth fund. And although the corporate VC is technically a global farm, its focus is on heavily weighted towards North America today.
The strategy may seem reverse it is a region influenced by the policy of the US administration that leads the US trade war with China, an unstable stock market and downturn. However, Bosh Ventures Managing Director Ingo Remesohl told TechCrunch that the flow of North America’s contract is stronger than ever.
“I can see a lot of positive power,” said Ramosohal. “People are not stopping innovation and stopping to disrupt. So for me it’s a really great time for new investment.”
The firm that has offices in Silicon Valley, Boston, Germany, Tel Aviv and China usually invests between $ 5 million to $ 10 million. Ramsohl says the firm will probably invest 20 to 25 from this fund.
“This is basically a continuation of the success stories of the last fund,” Ramsool said, when he asked to know the most interested in a technical sector.
