Anthropology is finally allowing more people to use it Claude on Google Chrome. The company’s AI browser plugin expand Max customers over $200 per month and now available to anyone paying for a cloud subscription.

The Cloud Chrome plugin allows easy access to Anthropic’s AI wherever you are on the web, but its real draw is how it lets Cloud navigate and use websites for you. Anthropic says Cloud can fill out forms, manage your calendar and email, and complete multi-step workflows based on a prompt. The latest version of the plugin also includes integration “Chrome plugin is now available” with Cloud Code, Anthropic’s AI coding tool, and lets users record a workflow and “teach” the cloud how to do what they want it to do.

OpenAI and Perplexity offer similar agentic capabilities in their respective ChatGPT Atlas and Comet browsers. At the moment the only AI company that doesn’t fully set its AI models in the browser is Google. You can access Gemini in Google Chrome and ask “Chrome plugin is now available” questions about a webpage, but Google hasn’t yet let its AI model navigate or use the web for the user. These features, first demoed in Project Mariner, are likely on the way.
