Google appears to be cracking down on AI-generated videos on YouTube after being hit with cease and desist letters by using Disney characters. As reported by And The company removed dozens of videos featuring Deadpool, Moana, Mickey Mouse, Star Wars characters and other Disney IP a few days later, as of Friday. “Disney’s Copyright Infringement on a Massive Scale.” The letter, seen by both publications earlier this week, calls on Google not only to host these videos on YouTube, but also to use the copyrighted works to train models including the Veo and Nano Banana.
