An alliance of governance has released a list of legitimate-fascinated Android applications that were actually spyware and used civil society that could oppose China’s state interests.

One of the two documents published by the NCSC on Wednesday contains a list of malicious applications, including Chat apps like Muslim and Buddhist Prayer Applications, Signals, Telegram and WhatsApp, and other popular applications such as Adobe Acrobat PDF readers, such as more than 100 Android apps.
NCSC also mentions an iOS app called TBTON, which was listed in Apple’s App Store in 2021.
Google and Apple did not immediately respond to any request for the comment.
