Plug-in Nightlights prevent you from tripping, guide the guests in the bathroom and help keep the kids protected in bed-but they can be a bit greedy about your outlets, depending on their size one or two sockets.

That’s why I was interested in trying 2 outlets of Snapwar GuidlightsWhich is basically outlet cover that contains a no-wire smart LED nightlight that gives up your sockets free. Basic Two-Pack Net You cover two nightlight outlet covers 43 or about $ 21. Here is what I thought about my tests with them.

The LED light of the Guidlight 2 is operated by battery and no tinkering with cables. For most outlets, what you need is a small flathead screwdriver and about 2 minutes of your period.

Unscrew the old outlet cover, fit the new model, make sure it fits the reception sockets correctly and makes it screw again. It usually takes it. Notice that I had a white outlet model for the test, which clashes somewhat with my socket, but not to be afraid – Snapawar provides this outlet in several ordinary household colors, including an ivory shade that fits my outlets very well.

LED does not take light Little More space at the bottom of the outlet cover, but it is not noticeable if you are not very close to the outlet.

The small LED light of this outlet keeps a white light, which is noticed below to illuminate the floor better and does not blind any subtle human eyes. In the light switch, the sensor reacts to the light level in the room, so it is only turned on when things become dark and the room will become more brighter. No additional management is required.

The switch also provides three settings. You can completely turn it off, it can set it in a warm, somewhat dim light or set it in a bright, white light. Both illumination options compared with extra chudachudi nightlight shades are quite high on the color temperature scale, but my favorite was easily faded option.

All in all I have received an effective solution to it. The outlet is recommended for places like Snapwar bathroom, where there is high demand for additional sockets for hairdire, etc. I finally landed in a hallway light near the bathroom, but it could work in multiple places.

In addition to the welcome color options, guidlight 2 outlets have a few more important customization choices. Depending on the key outlet you have outlets you can choose between a basic duplex design (a screw) or a decorative design (two screws).

More importantly, you also have the option of choosing a GFCI (ground fault circuit interpreter) outlet, which helps protect against involuntary errors and related shocks. They are now needed in many areas of the home, especially in bathrooms and kitchen where this night’s light can be often used, so I advise for this option, even though the installation is a bit complicated.

Whatever you choose, snapwar assumes that it costs about 10 cents a year to work in general situations in LED lights.

Final thought

Guidlight 2 outlet is a very effective solution for adding a nightlight while saving sockets for more important plug-in. I specially liked that it has many customization options for your different types of outlets, as well as the very effective brightness settings on how dark the house is.

On the other hand, the outlet may not be as commendable as some LED nightlights. But if you want additional sockets in a bathroom, bedroom or hallway, these factors do not create serious problems.
