Apple’s debut IOS 18.5 The company release the candidate on May May after a month after the publication of iOS 18.4 to the general public. Although this update brings more emoji to all iPhones, RC brings a few small changes and a new pride wallpaper. Since RC is not necessarily the final version of iOS 18.5, I recommend downloading it on something other than your primary device. The update can be buggy and the battery life can be affected, so it is best to keep these problems on a secondary phone.
Also, since the RC is not the final version, the update can land compatibility on your iPhone. There is no word about when Apple will publish the iOS 18.5 update to the general public, but it is usually a week after the RC publishing.

New pride wallpaper

I can’t say, and I’m not surprised. Apple’s global developers conferences are about to happen in June, so iOS 18.5 will probably be rare in features so that Apple can focus on iOS 19.
IOS 18.5 may have one more RC before being released to the public but I will not expect any other new features in the upcoming update. Apple has not declared that it will publish iOS 18.5 to the general public, but it may be early next week.
