The British Broadcasting Corporation has complained to a UK unbelieving controller that collectors like Apple News and Google News have alleged that their featured stories are reduced.

Report of Apple Insider BBC is asking the UK competition and market authorities Apple and Google are more prominently needed in credit news sources. And although the CMA’s decision is theoretically applicable to UK publishing, any change by the agigators will probably affect other publishers.

“If the audience earns the value of our contents and services, then the value of the gatekeepers instead of the BBC, it cun the BBC’s perceived value,” the broadcast wrote on his complaint.

This perceived value can be particularly important to the BBC because it receives most of its funds from the license fee given by the British families – so the broadcasting work is important to be visible and valuable to maintain support for the fit.

Apple recently paused AI News Summary after allegations of incomplete from BBC and other publishers.
