Google wants to give you more control over viewing and sharing images that may be clear if you are sent to you via Google messages. Tech Giants are currently turning sensitive content warnings, a security feature Declaration Last year which would automatically suspect to have nudity before viewing images.
When a message comes, you will see a “Speed Bump” notice, where you need to stop before opening a message and choose an option. These options may be harmful images of clear images, immediately get the chance to block the number, include the option to click Back Or to choose the ability to view the image. It will also remind you of the potential risk of sharing obvious content and help prevent accidental transmits.
Google says that this process is perfectly on your phone to maintain privacy and to ensure that end-to-end encrypted messages will only be accessible to the sender and the recipient. The company further made it clear that it does not have access to its image content, nudity is actually detected and does not know if it does not send identified data to its servers.
A Post on its website, The company acknowledges that the feature is “not perfect”, mentions: “It can sometimes detect images that do not have nudity or detecting images that contain nudity.”
The feature is enabled-in for adults through Android Settings and is enabled by default (opt-out) for users under the age of 18
