Tuesday, Meta’s first AI developer is hosting Llamacon. It will center around the Lama family of Open AI models and we are expecting some big updates for the developers. Also on the agenda: Big Tech CEO and Meta chief Mark Zuckerberg is the main notes of Meta Executive and Fireside Chat.

Llamacon started at 9am in the morning with a keynote speech given by Pacific Chief Product Officer, AI Company Vice President Chris Cox, Manohar Paluri and Meta Generator AI Research Scientist Angella Fan.
At ten o’clock in the morning, Zuckerberg Open Source will sit for fireside chat with Databrix co-founder and CEO Ali Ghodsi to chat on AI-driven applications. What is the connection between meta and databrix? In January, the databrix announced that the meta data-centric AI supported the startup as a “strategic adviser”.
After four in the afternoon, Zuckerberg Microsoft’s CEO will participate in another fireside chat with Satya Nadella. These two CEOs are ready to discuss the latest trends of AI, and the developers are advising on how to move forward in the fast -moving AI space.
The steaks are high for going to Meta Llamacon. The company recently launched Lama 4, a new generation of AI models that met with muted reactions from developers. Lama 4 models were not sophisticated at certain criteria compared to the top AI models of DIPSEC, Open, Ethnic and Google.
Immediately after the introduction, Meta had to prevent complaint that it was a popular crowded AI benchmark, LM Arena. The company has used a version of his Lama 4 Mavarick model to earn a high score at LM Arena “favored for conversation”, but publicly published a different version of Mverrick.
With Llamacon, the meta developers are hoping to return to the good grace. We will see if the company can achieve it.
