In mid -March, Meta said its “Open” AI Model Family, Lama, had hit 1 billion downloads compared to 650 million downloads early December 2021.
During the keynote address, Meta Chief Product Officer Chris Cox on Stage said, “Thousands of our developers are contributing to thousands of derivative models that are being downloaded several thousand times a month.”
Meanwhile, Meta AI Assistant Meta AI, powered by the Lama model, has arrived at about one billion users, adding Cox.
