For some exciting minutes on Wednesday, the X users were surprised to see one of those crypto “airtrop” posts on the blue check-in account of Andresen Horovits. A second tweet says that Million was already given 5 million.

This account contains 851,000 followers. A member of the Crypto team of A16z watched the tweet and posted a warning for not immediately involved. X quickly dropped the post. AirDrops are commonly used as a way of cryptocurrency for their own promotion.

A1 16 told TechCrunch, and posted on the account: “Earlier today, our X account was briefly compromised. At that time, the account promoted a token and other fake products – none of which was derived from the A1 16 Z.

Andresen is well known for investing in Harovits Krypto. Because it’s a crypto-loving firm, jokes and alert tweets: the link will probably drain a crypto wallet, it will not be added. So, if it is very good to be true – such as a VC provides valuable assets – this is not true.
