Save the pages steam Looks a lot less cramped thanks to a new update. Pages have been expanded with support for higher resolution images and new viewing modes for trailers and screenshots. You’ll notice changes to the top carousel and the “About the Game” section, where some new formatting options will make things more organized. The update has been rolled out to the public after first being tested among beta users.
Steam store pages get a mini makeover
With this update, pages have been widened to 1200 pixels, which Valve says “felt like a good balance where we could show more content on the screen without overwhelming the page and making it difficult to navigate.” Carousel now has a large pop-up view called Theater Mode, as well as full-screen mode options. In addition to the game’s Store pages, Valve has slightly changed the look of the search results and recommendation pages to be more comprehensive, and made the Store Hub, Steam Chart, and News Hub look more uniform.
You may also notice some more colorful backgrounds on game store pages and bundle detail pages. where you will not Still see the change, though, on the homepage. Although Valve says it’s working on “similar adjustments” for the homepage, those aren’t rolling out with this update.
