The AI company behind Chatzi is considering the creation of a social media platform, according to reporting Virz With quotes of multiple anonymous sources this week. Yes, you have read that right: a social media agency.
At this point, the idea is just an internal project – which means no guarantee that it will ever see daylight. But the idea raises many questions: What will an open social feed be like? Who will post? Will the company develop special AI features for this? Does Ultman really want to overcome Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Kasturi?
And, my most immediate question: Why? Why would Opena want to create a social network?
This is not that the company spends on time and extra cash. It has been very busy for several months for OpenAI. Only last week, ChatzPT Plus provider customers got access to three new models: O 3, and 4-Minit and 4.1. We have also learned this spring that the company is developing its first open-weight model in half a decade and it has dropped a local image generator and has given update the ChatzPT performance to improve its memory. Open is the fastest, cheap and most useful AI models working to create King to be crowned by several contestants.

Opening AIs that develop AIs are needed for training for more human-prone products, their models, accurate and human-hitting. The current data acquisition practice of Openai is a matter of heated cases, but it does not mean that the company has stopped acquiring and training models. Social media platforms where true people (and confessed, potentially lots of bots) freely chat, share pictures and post videos can be a bargain for data-hungry AI agencies-allowing customers to use that content for the purpose of training.
The largest contestant of the OpenAI in the Generator AI Space is Meta and X/Twitter, both of which have their own social media platform.
