Video Editing App is adding a set of new AI image editing tools, supporting high-resolution raw files, non-destructive editing and content-conscious region detection.

AI equipment will be placed in a new tab called “AI Labs” that also brings AI-driven object removal chops such as Google and Apple’s homegrown offers.

You can highlight or draw a circle around an object in a picture and the VSCO will replace it with the background that thinks of it. The company says that it uses “intelligent region detection” to mix the background after removing an object without affecting the resolution or color.

In contrast to most AI-powered removal tools that occasionally release patterns, VSCO claims that its equipment is more precise and detailed and therefore it is more suitable for professional photographers.

The agency says it will soon launch another AI-driven feature called upscale, which claims to increase the resolution of the images and to sharp the details without compromising with the details.

The company is strengthening its toolset to compete better with edit tools. In May, it launched an AI-powered Whiteboard to cooperate with photographers and their potential clients and launched a marketplace with photographers last year with the clients. Early this year, it was turned on Workplace To help them book and manage the schedule.
