We examine each aspect of a new phone from the battery and the processor to the camera.
We examine each phone in real-world circumstances, focusing on its features, design, performance, camera, battery life and overall values. We documented our search in an initial review that is updated periodically when new software is updated or to compare new phones from the phone to competitors such as Apple, Samsung, Google and OnePlus.
Photography
Photography is a major focus for most phones nowadays, so we take pictures and videos of various subjects in various settings and illumination situations. We try to make a new camera mode like the 4K 120 FPS slow motion mode on the iPhone 16 Pro or Ad Me Photo Tools launched with Google Pixel 9 Series.
Battery life
Battery testing is conducted in several ways. We evaluate how long a phone lasts on a normal day of use and we note how it performs during video calls, media streaming and more centralized sessions of gaming. We also do a video playback test, which is not always included in the initial review and is added to an update later.
Galaxy Z Flip 5 basically has the same camera hardware the same as Z Flip 4 but the new chip brings improvement to some image processing.
Performance
We use the benchmarking applications to measure our own episodical experience as well as perform the performance using the phone for our review. How the graphics and animations of special notes show. Are they smooth? Or are they back or fold? We also look at how fast the phone switches the phone between horizontal and vertical orientations and how fast the camera app is open and ready to take any photos.
We perform processor-filled works like photos editing, video exports and game playing games. We evaluate whether we include enough features to upgrade from the old models in a new version of a particular phone.
