Google is upgrading the suite, workspace of cloud-based productivity tools with new AI capabilities.
The suit is gaining workspace flow, a tool that is designed to automatically automatically, such as updating spreadsheets and digging through documents for information. The streams can tap the brand of brands of custom AI-powered chatbots in Google to handle specialized tasks and integrate with applications like Google Drive to recover data.
“Just describe what you need in a simple language, and the workspace flows will design and create the sophisticated, rationalized flows,” wrote in a blog post provided by VP Yuli Quan Kim TechCrunch, Google Workspace Product. “We are also working with partners to attach workspace stream to other third -party equipment that depends on you, enables supporting the workpace out of workspace.”
As you look at the making of Google Workspace, the growths come in, which competes with the platforms as Microsoft 365, an AI-first experience. The search giant first began to add AI effectiveness in the workspace in March 2023 and recently removed additional fees for some AI workspace features – though it increased the price of workspace plan.
Somewhere else in the workspace, Google Docs will soon gain the ability to convert the drafts into podcast-style overviews, the La La Notebook will correct the audio overviews and the snippets of the copy. Kim said, “Reflect me”, will advise on how to strengthen the arguments, improve the structure and clean the points, “said Kim.
In Google Sheets, a new feature arriving at the end of this year, “help me analyze” guidance, will provide spotlight trends and will help create interactive charts. At the Google Meeting, a tool called “Take notes for me” can minimize and recover specific topics from video calls. Google Chat users will be able to request Google’s Gemi Chatbot by typing “@Jemine” in a conversation.
Google’s AI-powered video-making app for work will soon be able to create video clips using Google VEO2 model, which is integrated with the Google application.
To the end, Google says it is introducing new data residency controls that allow customers to restrict their data to help comply with the EU GDPR.
