Intel unveils new processor powered by its 18A semiconductor tech

Six months after the lip-boo tan fighter starts his search to turn Intel, the semiconductor giant has announced a large hardware upgrade.

Thursday, Intel Unveiling a new processorPanther Lake Coded. It identifies the next generation of the company’s Intel Core Ultra Processor family and is the first chip built using the semiconductor process at Intel 18.

Processors are expected to start shipping later this year and Intel Chandler, Arizona, FAB 52 facilities, which came online in 2024, are being produced.

“We are entering an exciting new age of computing, semiconductor technology has been possible to move forward with a great jump that will turn the future for decades,” Tan said in a company’s press release. “Our next-gene calculated platforms, combined with our top edge process technology, production and advanced packaging capabilities, we are the catalyst for innovation across our business as we create a new Intel.”

Separately, Intel has also predicts his Zion 6+, the Codenade Clearwater Forest, which is the first 18-A-based server processor of the company. Intel predicts it will launch in the first half of 2026.

It has announced the largest production of the company since Tan took over as Intel’s CEO in March. Within his first few weeks, Tan made it clear that he would re-focus on the company in his original business and recover its engineering-first culture.

This declaration also emphasizes the relations of semiconductor in 18 in the United States that the company’s press notice is highlighted that it is the largest advanced chip production process natively produced.
