
Neil Young encouraged his audience to reject “Big Corporation who sold America” and instead “Buy Local” he announced plans to remove his music from Amazon this week.
In a post On the Neil Young Archives website, the 79 -year -old Rocker called Amazon founder Jeff Bezos to support the government that “doesn’t support you or me.” He mentions the ongoing shutdown of the Federal Government.
It was unclear whether Young wanted to pull the Amazon music from Amazon music or to prevent the e-commerce site from selling its albums or selling both of its albums.
The “Heart of Gold” singer has a dozen albums to stream the Amazon music and have more than 555,000 followers on its page.
