Foldable phones like Pixel 9 Pro Fold and Oppo have re -defined smartphone design. But in the end, what most people want to know is: how good is the cameras?
I sprinkled photos on the foldables of both books to see how the cameras compare. Every phone had the strength from the sharpness to the texture to the color of life, and they took away the “winner” title.
In general, you will not get the best phone camera in the folds because of their design. A small phone calls for a small sensor and lenses, which means the best foldable cameras will be one step back on the back of the regular candy bar devices like Pixel 9 Pro XL or Galaxy S 25 Ultra. Nevertheless, if you are ready for a foldable purchase, you at least want to make sure you are getting the best camera. This can help compare this where.
First let’s start with some camera glasses. The Pixel 9 Pro fold has a 48-megapixel wide, 10.5-megapixel ultrawide and 10.8-megapixel 5 X telephoto cameras, as well as two 10-megapixel selfie cameras, for one internal screen and the other for the cover screen. It starts at $ 1,800.

The Oppo Find N5 is a 50-megapixel wide, 8-megapixel ultrawide and 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera and two 8-megapixel selfie cameras, for one internal screen and the other for a cover screen. It is priced at $ 2,499 Singapore dollars, which converted to about $ 1,870 – but it is not available in the United States or Europe. Except for camera glasses, how thin is one of the largest sales points in Find N5. When the pixel is closed, 10.5 mm thick is thick, but find the N5 only 8.93 mm.
It is important to note that more megapixels do not automatically mean better photos, so I have tested these phones in the real world. What I got is here.
Pixel 9 Pro Fold vs. Oppo N5 Find Compared to Pictures
One of the biggest differences between photos between Pixel 9 Pro fold and Oppo N5 is the latter one depicts the more clear colors. In these shots of tulips, you look for the red and yelos of the petals in the N5 image, the more bright, the background pool. Although the pixel photo has a bit more shade, you get more texture, especially in petals and nozzle bricks.
It burst towards personal choice and has the power of each image. Find N5 adds vibration, but the pixel works better to show the color and details of life from the more true. So I will give it a reward at Pixel 9 Pro fold.

In this portrait mode shot of my friend Renim, the biggest difference is that the nearby pixel crops that I am not particularly crazy about, but how the phone acquires this vague background. Both phones do great with that bokeh effect and my friend’s face looks quite enlightened and clear on each.
This is a tossup, but in the end, I prefer even more tones and somewhat cool color in the pixel photo. At the same time, I prefer the sharpness of Renim’s features in the Find N5 photo. So I will give each statement here.

These images were taken in the afternoon in the bright California sun. Again, Find N5 Pixel brightens things than fold 9 Pro, but the pixel maintains the tone of more true-life, especially with grass.
Overall, both images are crisp, but you will notice more subtle details like tree branches in a pixel shot and the blades of grass may be more understandable. So I think the pixel has won here.

This night taken in my living room shows the images showing how each phone works with a harsh shade. You will notice how deep the colors are in the accent pillow and the shade around the lamp and the lower left corner next to the pink chair. I think Pixel 9 pro folds find those shades and work better and create more continuous overall shots, so that it is getting my vote.

Now on the zoom range. Pixel 9 Pro Fold Features are .5x, 1x, 2x and 5x optical zoom, on the other hand there are .6x, 1x, 2x, 3x, 3x and 6x optical zoom (zoom levels have partially thanked for sensor croping). Again, Find N5 shots illuminate and reduces the shadows and appreciate having 3X zoom options when you want to get closer, but not very close.

And how Oppo performs N5 here – 6x zoom shot is my favorite because the petals are how bold and lively:

To the end, selfie was taken on the cover screen cameras respectively at Pixel 9 Pro Fold and Oppo N5. The biggest thing that stands is that the wooden door staining is made of N5 shots how much more wide, which is a bit extra for me. You will notice more pink flowers on my jumpsut pop.
Both phones depict my skin tone and do a good job by adding a great overall smoothness to my features. But again, I think Pixel 9 Pro folds the color balance across the image.

Final thought
Comparisons to the camera are equal parts criticizing and personal preferences. I like how Oppo brightens some of the N5 some shots, but usually, I like the more true life and even tones served by the Pixel 9 Pro fold, especially with people’s images. The pixel tends to do better with low-light photos by reducing the shades.
The good news is that you will get a clean, well-on-hand shot with both phones — which you must expect with their thick price tags. You are zoomed in, pick up selfies or tap in portrait mode, there is a lot to flakes on the folded screen on each phone.
