If you were something like me, Gaming Playstation 2 could not feel exactly without the dominant sights and words of the Start-Up menu. If it is in your case – to get started, you probably turned 30 this year, and we’ll get it together – but Sony also has great news: PlayStation 5’s classic themes are coming back, now for the better.
Sony confirmed this news Post an official blog Wednesday, leaving the new features coming to PS5 on the next system update. In addition to some new audio options, you will be able to deck with the themes based on the classic predecessors of your console in your console: PS 1, PS2, PS3 and PS 4. They were initially introduced as a limited time offer for the 30th anniversary of the PlayStation brand last year, but they went so well with long -time fans that they returned for good.
“Due to the overwhelmingly positive response from our community, we are happy to bring back the appearance and feelings of four console designs for players to customize the home screen at PS5!” Post explanation.
The update included in these classic UI themes will go straight to Thursday 24 April.

Last year’s preliminary offers also included a more general 30th anniversary UI theme that would not come back to this update, though I suspect most people even thought it.
Based on Sony’s announcement, it is not clear whether these new themes will change the presence of PS5 during its start-up sequence or whether the changes are limited to the sights and words of the original menu. Sony did not respond to the CNET request to comment before the publication.

Other things coming to PS5 update
The winning return of these nostalgic themes is clearly what will focus on the most, but the update on Thursday will give some great new ways to tweet the PS5K system audio. Audio focus options are as follows, such as determined by Sony:
- Low Pitch Boost: Spread the words low-frequency like the roaring engine and noise.
- Voice Boost: Voice chat, character voice and other mid-frequency words wide.
- High pitch boost: Make high-frequency sounds like footprints and metallic syllables.
- Increase the quiet sound: Enlarge the words low-volume on broad frequencies.
