If you are a Substack publisher who likes not to turn your camera on Livestreaming, you have luck.

Substack Declaration Tuesday that it is launching an audio-cable livestream feature for publishers who want a low pressure way to connect with their followers. This is also ideal for those who want to be anonymous.

To use the feature, the publishers need to click on the camera icon to turn off the video while going live. They can re -enable the video at any time during the stream. It is noteworthy that the audience can still comment and subscribe to regular livestream.

This new power will start rolling next week.

The new audio-cable mode comes after the opening of livestream to all publishers in January, which was previously limited to manufacturers, including customers to pay more than 100.
