As Tiktok is creating his search experience, the social network is now surfaced reviews for the selected places within a video comment tab. The new feature, which seems to be a test, eliminates the need to conduct a new search or opening Google when you find a place in Tickets and want to know more about it.

Ticket users who have access to this new feature will see a new “review” tab on the right after clicking on video comments.

For example, if you have covered a video in Central Park in New York City where the creator tagged the location, you will be able to view users’ star ratings, their written review and uploaded photos for the position.

You can also click on a reviewer’s username to view their ticktok profile from this section, which separates from this feature Previous Google Maps Integration, With which was nominated A Google Map iconThe

Although the new feature may be a welcome addition to someone, others may think that it crowds the user’s experience while viewing content.

This step is the latest way to extend its search aspirations to take Ticktok to Google.

In 2022, a Google executive suggested that Tikatok was eating its original services, search and maps, especially for young users. Fast forward towards today, and Tiktok challenges Google’s dominance in several cases.

In addition to becoming the top stop to search for space between General Z, Tickets have added the ability to explore the image last year, allowing users to pick up or upload a photo to find similar products at a ticket shop.

In September 2024, Tiktok also started permission to target the page of its search results through “Tiktok Search Promotes”, a keyword-based search solution designed to display brand ads on search results.

It is not clear that Tikatok plans to roll out his review tab more broadly, as the company refused to comment before the release. However, in the TechCrunch test, we have found that only a few video features, including a tagged position, will show.
