Apple has been released IOS 18.4 In March, and that update brings something New emoji On all iPhones. But when Apple has been released IOS 18.2 In December, this has introduced a new feature in your mail application that your coming emails are arranged for you in different categories, called categories.
“The Mail App automatically picked up in categories to help seek and manage your email messages quickly,” Apple wrote on onlineThe But if you do not like the mail categories, you don’t like any concern, you can return to see the way you did before update.

What are the mail categories?
Mail categories are similar to the categories you will receive in Gmail. The app filters your emails in one of the four categories: initial, transaction, update and promotion.
Emails, including receipts, fill in the transaction categories as well as order and distribution information transactions and news, social and other subscription emails go to updates. E -mails with special offers and deals go to promotions, as you can imagine.
Pin in the primary section is a bit more difficult. Apple wrote in the app that the initial “messages that are the most important” are primary. I have used the re -design app since it was launched in Bita and at that time my primary category was filled with emails from my wife, customer service and even return information. This is a little bit of a catch-all section.
Can I change the category of an email?
You can for most messages but not all. Here’s how
1 Tap the mail.
2 Tap the transaction, update or promotion tabs at the top of the mail, but not the initial and tap a message.

You can then categorize messages manually to another section from a given sender. Unfortunately, all the sender’s messages will go to the new section, which may be worrying.
Once, I ordered a ticket for a program at a local theater and the email was filtered to promote the email. I have removed the email with those tickets to the primary, but now all the email from this theater – with deals and sales – go to my primary category. It is annoying to not be able to change this classification back.
It is important to note that you can go back to the promotion without any email in the deals and then without issue. The only emails that cannot be re -classified are the initials.
How do I turn off the sections in the mail?
If you don’t like the mail categories you can remove them so it looks like doing it before updating the mail. Here’s how

A Mail section is also called All the mail It apparently integrates the new categories with the list view, but you missed it – as I did. To find All the mailGo to the mail by enable the categories and swipe the categories near the top of the mail to reveal that All the mailThe Tap on it and you will still see the tabs on the top of the mail but all your mail will appear on the list of the list as you land in your inbox.
