Returning visitors to New York City, Daredevil: Birth again kicked with a tragic event that influenced Mordock’s internal circle and the political ambition at the end of Echo. With the increase of crime and street justice, friction between Kingpin and Daredevil was renewed as a new villain.
According to the production notes, both Fisk and Matt have internal conflicts. “We had to do the parallel paths. Both of them tried so much to be something else: ‘I am Matt Murdoch. I’m just a lawyer. I’m no longer brave.’ ‘I wanted to bring the excitement to the new York City where they could not maintain it and began to explode. ”
