Google said on Wednesday that it suspended the account of 39.2 million advertisers on its platform in 2024 – in its latest crackdown on advertising fraud – the number is higher than the previous year.

Using the signals like the details of the larger language model (LLM) and using the signal like business camouflage and illegal payment, the search giant says that they can suspend a “huge majority” of advertising accounts before serving an ad.

Last year, Google has introduced more than 50 LLM enhancements to increase its security enforcement facilities across all its platforms.

Although these AI models are very important to us and have made a number of impressive improvements, we are still involved in the whole process,” Alex Rodriguez, a general manager of ADS security of Google, says, on virtual media roundtable.

Executive journalists told reporters that more than 5 experts from Google, including the advertising team, members of the Trust and Safety Department and researchers at the Depmind, have come together. They analyzed the Dipfek AD scams involved in the disguise of the public image and developed development.

The company launched a technical countersmage and more than 30 advertising and publisher policy updates last year. These steps have helped to postpone more than 700,000 objectionable advertising accounts, resulting in the report of Dipfek advertising by 90%, the company claimed.

In the US, Google says it has suspended the account of 39.2 million advertisers and took 1.8 billion ads last year, including abuse of advertising networks, trademark abuse, health care claims, personalized ads and wrongdoing.

Google says that the second largest internet market after China and the second largest internet market after China, Google says Google has removed 247.4 million advertisements in India as the second highest in the United States, in violation of financial services, abuse of trademarks, personalized advertising and gaming and games.

All advertisers say Google has said that it has suspended 5 million accounts for scam-related violations.

Overall, the company has removed about half a billion advertisements related to the scandal.

Google has also verified more than 5,7 new elections in 2021, which saw half of the world’s population go to the polls and removed the advertisement of 1.7 million elections. However, Rodriguez noted that the amount of selection ads was relatively smaller than the overall advertising number of Google and this year its security metrics would not significantly affect.

Total, Google says it blocked 5.1 billion ads last year and removed 1.3 billion pages. In comparison, it Blocked 1.5 billion advertisements and 2.5 billion publishers have taken action against pages in 2021.

Google told TechCrunch that the reduced numbers indicate improvement in its resistance effort. By improving the initial identification and suspension of contaminated accounts, less harmful ads are produced or reached the platform, the company said.

The company also limited 9.1 billion ads last year, it said.

Importantly, large -scale suspension sometimes expressed concern over how a company applied its rules. Google says it provides an appeal process that includes human review to ensure that it has taken “appropriate steps.”

“Often, some of our messages were not clear and transparent about precision, what was the reason, or the argument and sometimes the advertiser had a bit more confused We We had a bunch of our principles, such as it related to it, for 20 and to help it in the direction of our transparency” it is a bunch and why “and why it”.
