What job are you hunting for? Meta Monday is that it is creating a local job experience to make our users directly discover and apply for nearby work on Facebook. The feature is inside the Facebook marketplace, groups and pages, opening the posts of employers and giving the role of filter by the distance, department or employment type of job candidates.

Users can apply or message appointed directors through Facebook Messenger, when employers can only publish a list of jobs with a few taps – similar to how users post items for sale in the market.
Before closing it in 2022, Facebook provided a job feature, pushing business to its other platforms. Its return is advised that Meta is trying to extend the effectiveness of Facebook outside social media and to resolve it as a center of community-driven opportunities.

How to get started with local jobs
According to the meta, local jobs will appear as a dedicated division in the Facebook marketplace, which starts this week. Users of 18 years of age or older:
- Tap the Marketplace tab on the Facebook application or website.
- Select the job to browse the location available.
- Use filters for work style, section and distance.
- Apply or message directly to the employer via messenger.
Business and page administrators can post jobs by creating a new list in the marketplace or from their Facebook page. The list may include job details, pay range and schedule information and will appear automatically on local search.
Local job features are now moving across the United States, Meta says it is planning to expand it in the months ahead.
