I love the 30 Days of Night franchise, so I was very excited to discover this week that it was making a comeback. falling sunAnd this first number did not disappoint. 30 Day Night: Setting Sun By Rodney Barnes (Philadelphia), who worked with series original writer Steve Niles to bring the new story to life and featured art by Chris Sheehan (slaughter house) in 30 Day Night: Setting Sun20 years have passed since the vampires descended on the Barrow. Teenager Jalen James arrives in a remote Alaskan town just before the long polar night to stay with his uncle, seeking an escape from his life in LA. But unbeknownst to the townspeople, the vampires have begun to stir again, with revenge on their minds and their sights set on the Barrow.
