Meta is starting to test a new feature on threads that allow users to follow the same creator by following X, the company confirmed the Techcunch.
Meta spokesperson Alec Booker said in an emailed statement, “We are currently examining and following the creators from other platforms in the thread, which made you important to connect to the important person and conversation,” Meta spokesman Alec Booker says in an email statement.

In recent years, several creators have left X for competitive platforms like threads and blusky, but have lost their huge follows in the process. Meanwhile, some users have been reported to have fought to create the communities that they had encouraged over the years. The goal of this feature is to make this migration easier for the creators and users who are only set up in threads.
The feature was, currently in beta testing First spot By a security researcher and former meta employee Zen Mancham Wang.
While opening the Threads Mobile App on Wednesday, some users, including TechCrunch, were shown a pop-up that they could now find popular creators from X “. Pop-up takes users to beta feature, which provides instructions on how to download their following list from X and import them to threads.
It is not clear how the meta matches their profiles on the Creator’s thread on the X platform. Meta says that the product will work for “popular manufacturers”, but not everyone you follow in X is MET
It says that such features are helping threads to become a strong alternative to X, including continuous growth rate. In January, the Meta reported that threads had more than 320 million monthly active users (MAS), more than 300 million MAS in December. Although each company measures MAS separately, it seems that threads are now on a comparative scale with X.
