OpenAI announced on Thursday that it was beginning to roll out a new memory feature in ChatzPT, which allowed the chatbot to create its answers to the users on the basis of their previous conversation content.
Openi states that the feature, which will be displayed as “reference saved memory” in the ChatGP’s settings, is made more relevant to the conversation with the ChatzPT. The update will add the conversation context to the generation features of the text, voice and image of the Chatzept, the company has added.
The new memory feature, except located in the United Kingdom, EU, Iceland, Lichtenstein, Norway and Switzerland, will first roll out the ChatGPT Pro and Plus customers. OpenAI says that these regions need additional external review to adhere to local regulations, but the company is finally committed to making its technology available there.
Open AEE’s free ChatzP was not reported to be divided into a launch for users. A spokesperson told TechCrunch, “We are now focusing on the rollout at the level of payment.”
The purpose of the new memory feature is to make the chatzip the more liquid and private – you don’t have to repeat the information you already shared with ChatzPT. In February, Google created a similar memory feature in Jemini.
Each user must not be thrilled with the idea of making them more information open. Fortunately, there is an opt-out. In the settings of ChatGPT, users may choose to close the new memory feature as well as manage specific preserved memories.
Open has said that you can also ask what you remember Chatzipt, or switch to a temporary chat for conversation that will not be stored.
Last year, OpenAI updated the chatzP to forget or remember the specified detail on the basis of request. However, this feature usually clearly requests the users to update the memory of Chatzipt. Today’s rollout makes the theoretically the process more uninterrupted.
OpenAI says that the new memory feature will be enabled for users to be enabled before whom the memory of Chatzipt was introduced.
