AI animation startup Cheehoo lands $10M funding from Greycroft

Creating animation is a time -consuming process, which requires multiple steps, including storboarding, rendering, composition and illumination for a single scene craft. SignA startup founded by Hollywood Executs and a mixture of technologists wants to create an AI-driven equipment to make creative animated materials to produce.

The startup was born out of the production company Rideback, which created the Lego Movie Franchise. Rideback’s co-chief executive officer, Michael Lofaso and Jonathan Irich, co-founder of the rideback are part of the founding team with Dan Lynn. Other founding members include Dream Works Animation Chris Deferia and former Apple AI researcher Hubert Sassai and Way-Cheng Cooor President.

In a conversation with TechCrunch, Lofaso said that Chihu studios and creators want to lead their animation to live their animation.
